Before and After pictures of 276 Murray Fork Drive
Before we applied our special touches, the house looked lonely and bland. There was little curb appeal, and the dated colors and broken windows hid the value the is within.
Here is the exterior view with a nice contrast at the second level bedrooms and garage against the attractive bricks and black accents of the shutters and front door.
Entry
The front room was ugly with broken windows, flooring that had been stripped, and a missing railing that is unsafe.
We replaced the front door with a handsome black door with leaded glass accents. The floors were replaced with laminate flooring that carries from the living room into the dining and kitchen areas, on down to the family room. The windows from the living room, kitchen, and dining room flood the house with a ton of light.
The Kitchen
Before the remodel, the kitchen was a disaster with old, damaged cabinets and open-air shelving. We ripped out everything for a complete fresh redo.
We kept the same kitchen footprint and added more beauty and function. Everything is new in this kitchen — espresso cabinets, granite counters, inlaid tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, track lighting, and laminate floor.
Master Bedroom
All of the bedrooms are located on the top floor of this tri-level home. The Master Bedroom was dirty and had damaged double doors leading into the closet. The carpet was dirty and faded after much neglect.
The Master bedroom now has fresh carpet and paint, a new ceiling fan with lighting, and decorative doors for the closet.
Master Bathroom
The Master bathroom was very plain, with no color or anything that appeals to the senses.
The Master Bathroom maintained neutral colors, but the fiberglass shower walls are now tiled to the ceiling and have a pretty vertically tiled rainfall design. The same tile from the shower walls is used on the floor for continuity. You will enjoy relaxing at the end of a long day in this soaker tub.
Downstairs Family Room
The Family Room is located on the lower level of this tri-level home. There is a closet, laundry room, and half bath on this level. Additionally, there are French doors leading out to the backyard, which let the sunshine come through.
After removing the old laminate and painting, the Family Room now is much more inviting. The darker wood contrasts nicely against the lighter walls.
Downstairs Family Bathroom
The previous downstairs bathroom was old and unattractive. Like most of this house before our rehab, the walls, flooring, and features were various shades of white and consisted of designs from decades ago.
The new bathroom has pops of color with updated espresso cabinets, granite counters, and much better lighting. The tile used from the Master Bathroom carries down to this bathroom as well.
Two Additional Bedrooms for the children and guests
The two additional bedrooms are about the same size and shape. The rooms needed a coat of paint to hide to loud pink color.
Fresh carpet was laid down and the walls and ceilings were painted. New ceiling fans were installed that will help keep cooling costs lower and provide additional lighting.
Hallway Bathroom
Before the rehab, this bathroom was dark and drab. Again, there was a definite lack of color or appeal, with everything being one of many shades of white.
With the updates from the rehab, all of the bathrooms continue the same color palette from the kitchen, with the espresso cabinets, granite countertops, and tile accents.
